The Role
42T have exciting growth plans and you will have a vital role to provide professional HR support to the 42T team during a period of maternity leave, specifically focusing on recruitment and HR best practices.
Main duties / key responsibilities:
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Lead on recruitment and people planning: Oversee the recruitment process, from job postings to onboarding, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Learning and Development: Collaborate with line managers to develop and implement training plans that meet the team's needs.
- Administer and maintain holiday/sickness/absence management: Ensure accurate tracking and reporting, providing insights and recommendations based on data.
- Policy and procedure development: Assist in the creation, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Employee Assistance Programme management: Oversee the administration and promotion of the employee assistance programme, ensuring employees are aware of and utilising available benefits.
- Legislative compliance: Stay updated on changes in HR legislation, ensuring that contracts, policies, and practices remain compliant.
- Wellbeing initiatives: Lead the development and implementation of wellbeing initiatives to support employee health and engagement.
- Visa management: Manage the company's visa licence, including processing visas for new hires and extending visas for existing employees as needed.
- Employee relations: Provide guidance and support on employee relations issues, including conflict resolution and disciplinary matters.
- Strategic HR input: Contribute to the strategic direction of the HR function, identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions.
- Advisory support to line managers: Advise line managers on HR-related questions or issues, offering guidance on team management, conflict resolution, and other personnel matters.
- Project work: To carry out improvement projects throughout the year, as determined by 42T.
About You
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience working in a fast-paced office environment
- Experience using HRIS and ATS
- Possess strong IT skills, including outlook, excel, word and PowerPoint
- Organised approach
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Carry out tasks effectively and efficiently, knowing when to seek support and advice.
- GDPR and data processing experience
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a consultancy business
- Previous experience using PeopleHR and Teamtailor
Education / Qualifications:
- Level 5 CIPD
